blue and bright friday

to top off a week of wonderful happennings {a private tango lesson with ney that had me soaring, getting hired for some interiors side-jobs for friends has me beaming, a muchly needed incredible two hour massage from the best masseuse ever ms.sofie gorman had me glowing, and finding out a new mini may be on my horizon has me giddy} the sun has been shining on san francisco the last couple days and i'm ever so grateful! blue skies, sunglasses, open-toed shoes, and springs in the steps all around town. here are some lovely interiors to spread the blissful blue brightness to all my blogging friends

hi dfm ~ ahem, yes i should explain that one....i'm a mini cooper fan in a big, big way. currently i have a lovely bumblebee lemon drop {it was one of the 1st ones off the boat in the u.s.}, but now it's about time for a trade-in upgrade. i've been lusting after a teal one with a black roof, but i may need to wait for the next shipment {which is fine with me}. when i get my new baby you can be sure i'll post about it.

Such lovely fresh interiors! And it sounds like you've had quite a good week. And the prospect of a new Mini? Wonderful. There's a Mini club in Belgium and I often see a parade of Minis on the road in England or France. Apparently they take lots of trips together!

You are so inspiring me with these beautiful images!! I love it when everything goes well, it's the best. And, a two hour massage? Wow, lucky girl! Thanks for the images, I'm loving the one with the blue and chartreuse, or yellow. I'm thinking of a chartreuse sofa, so I'm loving the colors!

Your weather in San Fran sounds fantastic and your 2 hour massage...Heaven. I just got back from LA which was 72 degrees, then went to Dallas at 55 degrees, and now back at home it is just above freezing. Yuk. I love wearing open toe sandals.

I LOVE these blue beauties you've posted for us here! For me this past weeks been very demanding- physically, mentally & emotionally. There's been TRUCKloads of work in office & my aunt was detected with a very critical medical problem & I was spending my nights in the hospital & days at work. Saturday I spent at her place. Im close to her & it hurts to see her unwell. Im hoping things wil be back to normal for me soon.

welcome back to the drizzle patricia ~ it's the land of lattes & goose-down parkas for a reason, yes? but it's still one of the most beautiful places on earth.

hi susan ~ so nice to hear from you. 3 cheers for a chartreuse sofa. please share images when you get it. ;o)

dearest vineeta ~ i'm very sorry to hear of your aunt's health problems. seems to be a bit of that going around lately. i hope she makes a full and easy recovery as quickly as possible. i'm sure having you near is one of her greatest medicines.
try not to let the work stresses dominate your mind-space. it'll all still be there tomorrow and your sense of calm & balance is truly what's most important.
my best wishes to you and your family!

A new mini.......oh my, you very, very lucky girl. But how can one ever trade in anything that is a bumblebee lemon drop? That is the most delicious sounding item.
