side lines

instead of being on the front lines today i'm wishing i was lounging on the sidelines. been working hard and playing hard, so i'm feeling a bit worn out. can anyone else relate? here are some lovely sideboards to go with the on-the-side theme i'm dreaming up for myself....
(side ~ the modular sideboard system you can sit on. brilliant combo of functions that can be used almost anywhere. manufactured by zeitraum moebel)

(ianonne: sanderson signature 2.0 sideboard ~ by furniture designer michael ianonne ~ all made from eco products. found at mocoloco)

(the nice folks at wendell castle will let you design your own cabinet with their palette line. create a dresser, buffet, sideboard, or media center by choosing from several configurations and selecting from a range of rich veneers, including walnut burl, lacquered colors and hardware options)

(the prado sideboard at momento italia is striking with silk-screened images and is also available in limed, gray, or wengé-finished oak veneer, and a range of high-gloss and matte lacquers on wood. its doors come in frosted, smoked, or red or white lacquered glass)

(tim watson's baschenis sideboard ~ mounted on an aluminum frame, its doors and drawer fronts feature a continuous diaper pattern in a brazilian walnut veneer that's been cut to reveal the contrasting light beech underneath. found at sawaya & moroni)

(jonas lindvall's sliding "sidobord" sideboard will expand and contract to show off or conceal its interiors. found at hem feber)
