pacheco palace revamp

i wondered, can i get away with my living room having terra-cotta colored walls, dark brown stained wood trim, light brown hardwood floors, and decor accent items in ecru, dark brown, grey and teal???
hopeful, and determined to find out, i went shopping & purchased all but the rug you see below (my current rug is a different pattern but has similar colors).

the photos i took of my revamped living room aren't looking too hot because my camera is on its last leg. so until i can get a decent, clear, not distorted photo, i found the photo below of some one else's room (actually on the crate & barrel site) to show that the color combo works. yay!
