ever since my first pair of tap shoes at age 4 (i still have them) i've had a thing for patent leather. growing up i frequently had a pair of dress shoes, black in the fall or white in the spring, made of patent leather. being all grown up now my attraction to the product is still there, but it's not just shoes ~ there are many other wonderful forms you can adorn your space with! patent leather has been around since the early 1800's and the original process used a linseed oil-based lacquer coating. modern patent leather usually has a plastic coating.

Thanks for stopping by by blog. To answer your question, I think my dad used a template for the little table & chairs. Have a great day.
