it's officially feeling like spring in san francisco ~ oh, how do i love the warming air, blossoming trees & plants, and longer hours of daylight! and, oh, how fortuitous that i came upon this inspiringly easy, yet delightfuly adorable project this weekend . . . . giving new life to old papers & images. it comes by way of debby dusenberry & her darling blog curious sofa. she has taken pages from old books and newspapers and printed colored words & nature-inspired images on them with her color printer. then, with a few hole punches & twine, she's turned the lovely results into signs, curtains & room dividers.

along the same lines, using old papers in beautiful, simple & special ways ~ elizabeth maxson's latest house party decor idea. it's shabby chic creative, and so comforting i just wish i was invited too.
