brand new to the residential market, the turbochef oven is impressive. and for me it's even more impressive due to a small personal connection ~ my friend cormac eubanks was on the design team at frog design who helped develop the product.
among its many features, turbochef is a blazingly fast, four-way (convection, microwave, steam, infrared) cooking device which provides even cooking, moistness and browning, all at high speed. for instance it can make 25-minute souffles in two minutes or a 3.5-lbs chicken in 14 minutes. plus, as you can see below, it looks so good (featuring an ipod-like click wheel as its main interface) that any kitchen design would be enhanced by it.
