delight in the details

i enjoy the nitty-gritty as much as the big picture, but sometimes {just sometimes} the details can get me really pre-occupied. i'm knee-deep in tons of detailing for a residential remodel and i may not come up for air until the end of the week.....so i'll give you some idea of the types of lovely details i'm steeped in for your viewing pleasure until i re-appear.

{photos from my wanderings around the internet saved for months in inspiration folders ~ if you recognize one let me know & i'll happily credit you}

Angie, what have you done..! such beauty! I'm loving it! and one of them - that ornate corner of the pond (waterbody) happens to be in the Taj Mahal complex India. Loved this post & do share more of your research if its this beautiful. thanx :)

Beautiful! (As always.)

I love the picture of the pleated white gauzy fabric. It is instantly soothing.

hi dear alex! i did tango over the weekend, actually. i went to a nice relaxing milonga {for the 1st time} on friday evening. the floor was extremely slippery so the leads had to be extra attentive. unfortunately i was worn out from a long week and was home by midnight. sometimes the pillow calls louder than the tanguero. ;o)
