going up or down?

my dear friend miss.ivy is an excellent photographer. so i'm showing a couple of her lovely shots from a place she recently stayed in paris because they're just so apropos {& she'll know exactly why}.
whether you're spiraling up or spiraling down it's actually quite a similar view. and that's a very good thing to keep in mind. ;o)
have yourselves an adventure-filled weekend!

I have been such a bad blog reader and poster lately. It dawned on me today when I got your book email, that I haven't popped on in over a week. Sincere apologies! Anyway, I love these photos, especially the second one and love that you added the philosophical statement about whether you are going up or down, the view is still the same. Have a great weekend!

Such cool images! They look like the interior of shells.

Beautiful. Even you're dragging your suitcase up them, these stairs are so wonderful. They even smell good. I don't know why, but they do.

tb~ i didn't realize they also smell good. next time i'm on one i'll stop & take it in & think of your words. ;o)
